It’s Closing Time - Less Than 24 Hours…

by Melvin Ng, 4:12 pm

It’s closing time for the “Send Us To US” firesale and it has been one heck of a journey.

Now, I’ve been hearing positive reviews from almost everyone who purchased because when you think of it, for just $47 you’ll get 100 products with resell rights, and like it says on the site this is the BIGEEST sale of 2007.

Well, all good things eventually come to an end, and so is the case for this sale.

Get your own Musketeer Package here before it ends!

The entire page will be taken off after 8.49am on August 1.

No exceptions whatsoever. You will not be able to email me and ask for access.

If you’re reading this too late, don’t email me to find out what it was all about. It will just make you mad… :-)

Timothy Ferriss - The 4 Hour Work Week

by Melvin Ng, 4:31 am

4hourworkweek.jpgI’ve just finished reading Tim’s book about 2 weeks ago and I found it to be an awesome book and I fully subscribe to his philosophy.

It’s simple, basically he shows you how to outsource your work and life so that you only work the minimal amount of time in a week, and the rest of the time, to live your life that you should, and not delay it to the latter part of your life (read old age).

He also discusses the concept of planning for mini-retirements (escapades) so that you can go travel over a long period of time.

All in, it’s an easy read and definitely very useful for me. And while reseaching through Tim’s method ofoutsourcing, I came across my friend’s Michelle MacPhearson’s review of it too.

I Got Tagged

by Melvin Ng, 6:24 pm

Someone’s going to get whacked on the head for tagging me…yes, that’s you Khai!

Okay, I’ll save you the whacking in exchange for a lunch. Deal?

So here goes…8 Random Things about me

1) I’m Anti-Social, NOT?

Well, not exactly. it’s just that I prefer to hang out with close friends, and I’m not someone who can fit into a new group easily but once I get to know the person, I can be a real joker (or a pain in the behind depending on how you see it) :-)

2) I Love To Eat

Oh yes, the pleasure that food brings, and in Malaysia, we’re blessed with such wonderful variety. I’m game for almost anyfood, am not picky about the choice, but can be hyper-critical about the quality and taste of food though.

3) I’m A Banana Guy

In other words, I’m a Chinese (yellow on the outside), but because I was educated in a Methodist school, I don’t know how to read and write Chinese (white on the inside), hence the term, banana guy. Thank goodness I can still speak a smattering of Chinese.

4) I’m One Lazy Dude

I hate work. Although I might work hard sometimes, it’s so that I can be lazy in the future. One of my goal when I started Internet Marketing was so that I could get rid of having a boss. I like to do WHAT I want, WHEN I want, and WHICHEVER way I want. That’s a bad employee’s habit. Even when in school, I’ll take the easy way out by ’spotting’ questions and studying at the very last minute. Thanks goodness I manage to scrape through.
5) I WAS An Accountant

My dad told me that if I want to be in business, then I should study accounting, and I did. When I became an accountant, I was bored to death. I changed job every 1-2 years, I was a job hopper. Sad huh. But now I’m a happy infopreneur. Till now, I still don’t see how being an accountant helped me. Dad?
6) I’m Addicted To Coffee

On average, I drink about 2-3 cups a day, and still have no problem sleeping. Am I immune to it?

7) My Hobbies

I’ve begin to like designer board games, no thanks to Edmundand Khai, especially when they brought along their ‘game’ when we were suppose to be learning and attending the seminar in Singapore, duh.

And I like to play Chess.

For sports, I was never into playing football (though I follow Manchester United’s news closely in the newspaper) and plays the badminton.

8) I Hate Being Tagged

…because it means WORK for me. Khai, you hear that you bugger???? ;-)

Anyway, can I not tagged 8 other people? Do unto others what you want others do unto you…LOL.

But here I am tagging…

Did you get my email yesterday on Instant Wordpress Themes?

In case you need to see a sample of how it looks like, all I can say is that it has a very clean and professional feel to it.

It just so happened that I was planning to rebrand myself, and my blog, and the themes couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time for me. Just have a look at this - AskMelvinNg.com

While you’re there, leave me a comment and let me know what you think. From now on, you’ll get more informal emails from me.

Yeah, that might actually piss of some people as they would be thinking that a business newsletter should be more formal…what the heck.

It’s going to be PERSONAL! And I hope you’ll enjoy the more laid back style from now on.

So…check out the Instant Wordpress Themes now.

I find it a real timesaver, and after all, it’s only $1 per template, what else can I ask for. Click here now for Instant Wordpress Themes

Talk later,

- Melvin Ng
