Hey May, The actual flight time was about 17 hours in total - 4 hours from KL to Taipei, and 13 hours from Taipei to San Francisco. However, there was a transit time of another 4 hours in between. And the jet lag was terrible. I hardly slept more than 3 hours the first few days that I was there, and now that I'v gotten used to it, I'm already back in Taipei waiting for my flight back to KL in n hours time.
